I've decided that The Royal Tenenbaums is one of my favorite movies. For me that is quite a commitment, there are so many movies I like that I can never commit to narrowing them down to just a few. Typically the best I can do is my 'Top 10' in each category. So to establish that this is one of my Top (all-category inclusive) movies, is quite a feat. I love every aspect of it. The music, the narrative, the cast, the plot....everything. Anyone who can combine Gene Hackman, Alec Baldwin, Danny Glover, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Murray, Angelica Houston, and the Wilson brothers into one movie and pull it off with such swagger deserves some sort of recognition. Am I right? Of course I'm right. Thus the Director.......who was the Director again? Yes, I have a confession. I can label a movie as a brilliant and artistic genius without having any idea who the man (or woman) was behind it. Seems rather sad. Ok, New Years Resolution #1 : (is it too late for this?) take more notice of the details.

hey you should check out the science of sleep. you can see the trailer at apple....it has Gael garcia from Mexico....I don't think it was that big in the states but it is coming here this week, I hope to see it with my friend Irene.
yeah, it comes out on video soon i think. i've been seeing commercials for it, looks interesting. let me know =)
